Registration is now open for the 2022 Deputy Sheriffs' Memorial Golf Tournament

San Diego County Deputy Sheriffs provide the highest quality public safety services in an effort to make San Diego the safest urban county in the nation. Deputies put their lives on the line each day to keep our communities safe. They are the backbone of our communities.

When politicians put forth bad ideas, it’s important to support our law enforcement professionals. Let’s do our part by signing up to advocate for deputy sheriffs. While our deputies are keeping us safe, we should have their backs and fight for them the way they fight for us.

YOUR VOICE

The DSA worked with other large law enforcement agencies throughout the state to successfully block several ill-conceived bills last fall. The DSA will continue working to maintain and enhance high standards of recruitment, training, professionalism, transparency, and accountability within our profession. We must keep up the fight for common-sense reforms and oppose dangerous legislation that will make California more unsafe. Sign up to know what legislation will affect you and what you can do to help fight.

YOUR VOTE

The Deputy Sheriffs’ Association interviews candidates seeking endorsement, takes positions on legislative issues, and coordinates independent expenditures to have a positive effect on issues impacting public safety and policing. Supporters will know which candidates the DSA has selected as “Law Enforcement’s Choice.” Supporters will learn which candidates are best for public safety and will receive election information to assist them in making the best decisions with their vote.
