Last Chance to Enter Memorial Trip Drawing
So far, the 2021 law enforcement memorial events are proceeding as planned, so the DSA is hosting its annual trip lottery drawings as usual. Winners receive $750 toward the cost of the state memorial trip to Sacramento or $1,750 toward the cost of the national memorial trip to Washington, D.C.
To enter the drawing for either of these events, visit this link and select the trip for which you would like to be entered to win. Entry to the drawing closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, so enter while you have the chance! Winners are randomly drawn and will be announced at the February 11 member meeting.

A Day in the Life of a Deputy
The DSA is now accepting submissions in the form of pictures + anecdotes that showcase a “day of the life” of a deputy. Submissions can be from on or off-duty adventures you deem fun, funny, interesting, or inspiring. Each submission is equal to one entry into a monthly drawing for a $50 DSA store gift card. Send entries to info@dsasd.org. Photos may be used on social media or in the Silver Star. Gift card winners will be drawn on the last weekday of each month.
