The Deputy Sheriffs’ Association of San Diego County is excited to announce that we are developing an all new Commemorative Album to celebrate our agency’s 175th Anniversary in 2025 and honor our members, past and present. This hardbound, commemorative “coffee table” album, will include hundreds of photographs and memories that fully illustrate what it means to be a member of the SDSO family.

What better way to capture SDSO’s proud past and promising future than through a collection of pictures and information that, when combines, tell the story of this great agency and of the people who made it what it is today? This 9×12-inch, hardbound book will be printed in full-color and contain hundreds of historic and modern photos of professional staff and sworn personnel. It will also include portraits of department members, as well as candid and action photos.

These are your memories! Our goal is to commemorate the many accomplishments and services that you provide to our community and the citizens we protect. To make it as comprehensive as possible, we are asking you to contribute by sending in your stories for consideration. You can also submit photos from your time with the  department – action shots and group photos will be reviewed. Send any stories and photos for consideration to the DSA Album Committee at mharris@dsasd.org. All photos should include a brief caption describing who is pictured, when it was taken, and what was happening.
